i figure just get caked up in 2011, and then just ball out all of 2012 and drink myself to death minutes before armageddon
01-06-2011 , 06:23 PM
in all seriousness though

even when i was pretty young, I always said I wanted to see the end of civilization in my lifetime.
really morbid i know, and its driven completely by my ego-centrism , but i just dont wanna miss a damn thing

also i think it'd be cool to experience and try to survive lol

(this is all assuming i had no kids, im guessing that might change my pov some)
01-06-2011 , 07:28 PM
when people talked about recycling my buddy had similar views as mr song. "the worlds gonna end some day, might as well be here to see it"

people need to be more worried about oil spills, nukes, and global warming than dead birds imo

01-06-2011 , 08:14 PM
i can totally see how what i said would come off that way , as its a completely selfish desire lol

but i think/hope if you asked my friends/family theyd tell you that i was pretty selfless

so hopefully im not that terrible of a person

guys I'm going to a friends bachelor party in vegas in about 3 weeks and we're trying to figure out some pricing for potential bottle service/tables/limo whatnot on friday night (28th I think). it's like 15 late 20s early 30s dudes. the initial research from one of the guys connections got us 6 bottles, tables, limo, cover, etc for $300/guy. That seems to be too steep from some of the guys in the group so I was hoping somebody might lead me to some alternatives or some other connections I could get some pricing from.

PM if you have any suggestions.

thanks in advance for any help.

you might get some help in the Vegas lifestyle forum if no one here gives you info

That's ok for 15 guys. You're looking at 3 guys to a bottle at almost all the clubs down there anyway, and with ****** bottles like absolute running ~600 with tip and tax, you're looking at $200/guy anyway, and that's without the limo. You could probably do that, and then grab a limo outside the hotel cab lineup area and get them to drive you around for like $200-400 depending on how long you guys want it for. That'll probably shave a few bucks off the $300.

Best man just has to tell everyone before heading down to man up and not complain, especially if you're only doing table service for only one of the nights.

there's a decent chance that global warming is fake and even if it isn't, don't you think that a bunch of animals dying might possibly be related to it.

Nukes probably get overblown by the media. Never been an attack, no real reason to suspect one, countries and terrorists have had a ton of chances to attack and as far as we know they've never even tried (or at least gotten close when they have). USA is probably too weak economically and politically to get crazy into it with china and russia atm anyways.

oil spill is super scary though and maybe dumping a gazillion tons of chemicals like corexit and crude into the gulf could have adverse effects on things like wildlife and global warming etc

it's all related broooo
01-07-2011 , 02:13 AM
i could be wrong but i thought everyone was worried about it being like a bird flu or some sort of plague that could spread to humans. that's what i was referring to.

anyone that thinks a population thats growing at an alarming rate and recklessly using up a ridic amount of resources isn't a problem has a screw loose imo. global warming is just a part of it.

more importantly im pretty fired up and wanna bitch slap sammy after seeing the new episode of jersey shore. before i can cool off i throw on "million dollar money drop" and these two black dudes are so pitiful its got me yelling at the tv. im such a waste of space.
01-07-2011 , 02:43 AM
I watched that million dollar money drop show a few times and wouldn't be shocked if it were staged.

The set it really busto too.

the bird thing could definitely be some sort of bird flu
01-07-2011 , 03:24 AM
But all the same species bird? And all at the same time? This is in reference to the fish that dies, but same idea as bird flu imo

http://www.naturalnews.com/030914_dead_fish_birds.html

Quote:
A virus, bacteria or fungus doesn't magically and suddenly spread across 100,000 members of one species all on the same day. It takes time for such infectious agents to spread. If disease were the cause, you should have seen a few fish showing up dead on one day, followed by a few more some days later, then a lot more after that, and then finally a much larger mass over the subsequent days or weeks as the infectious agent spread through the population.

Yet that's not what we saw. Instead, we saw 100,000 fish dying all at once (or very nearly all at once). This is not indicative of infectious disease. Even the CDC will tell you that. Infections don't time themselves to kill large populations simultaneously. The pattern of death all but rules out infectious disease as the cause.

from what i remember $300-$400 per guy is pretty standard at the top LV clubs

I don't understand the "go clubbing" part of bachelor parties in Vegas. You get 15 dudes to put down $300 per person so they have the previlidge of drinking alcohol at $23 an ounce and to sit down in a big sausage fest circle that's being guarded by a big sausaged security guard. The guys with game go try to find some girls to hang out with but in the end its mostly sausage chatting it up and occasionaly bouncing a head or hand to some tunes in a VIP box with overpriced liquor. The only positive I see in this scenario is that you get to skip the line to get into the club.

I rather do some outdoor activities for bachelor parties. Go ATVing, skydiving, golfing, shoot guns and grenades, etc etc etc. Then go buy an ice chest of liquor and beer, get fack'ed up on booze on your own and go to a strip club and slap some strippers around for an hour. Of course, ban anyone from taking a credit card and more than $50 to the strip club.

Even better is to just do the bachelor party in Costa Rica. SWEEET!!! Now that would be some serious "bang" for the dollar + tons of awesome outdoor activities. Vegas is so overrated as "sin city."

15 x 300 = $4500.

If it was my party, I would much prefer my buddies get me a 60" flat screen tv, plus a surround sound system, and just have just as much to drink in some restaurant or my suite AND save my buddies money. Then we can all hang out and chill at my place regularly in front of my semi-baller TV (superbowl, etc). But call me old and practical.

a better alternative (imo) to bottle service at the club is getting a cabana at the pool parties. youre still dropping big coin but theres dudes that work for the hotel rounding up chix, kicking out lame ones, and replacing them for you. lets be honest. pool party > club

that said paragraph 2 is pretty much the way to go imo. the best stags ive been on everyone went hard during the day then shortly after dinner the soldiers start going down but they're ready to get back at it the next day.
