- about my 6max 5/10 WR: a year ago I took a 3 month shot at 5/10 6max. I was not a good enough player at the time to win in those games. After I ran hot initially I caught some bad variance. In the end I ended up a slight winner in those games while running a little bad. PTR was working during the worst of it and not up during the best of it. It has me as a loser in those games when really I was probably a BE reg without good game selection. Was I good enough to make a living as a 5/10 6max reg on ftp last fall? I doubt it. Have I ever claimed I was? no. I retooled my game, moved to smaller stakes and tried to improve. I'm now very confident that I would be a winner in those games. But I've gotten comfortable 16-20 tabling FR and playing SH and HU to start games and keep them going. I've never denied any reg action consistently and I've won at over 5ptbb/100 at 5/10 this year over about 40k hands. you can see my WR on ptr since you like to blow yourself over that crap, and if you want to bet me on it I can post a screenshot. So I don't really think your ptr quotes mean jack ****.

- about your 2/4 FR WR: you might have a slight edge but ask any player in those games who is better and you won't find a single one that says you. I've played more hands, won more money, have a better hourly, play more regs (HU SH whatever), and started more games than you ever have. There are a handful of regs in those games that are better than me, but you're not one of them. And I guarantee my 3/6 and 5/10 FR WR is much better than yours.



finally, how's that big month looking after you dropped 16k today? You're clearly doing a great job of hunting bums and running hot, and congrats to all of your success. My complaints are all about your etiquette at the table and have nothing to do with the fact that you are winning. Lots of poker players are better than me and make more money, the only ones I get pissed at are the ones who are openly making the games worse for everyone because they are to ****ing stupid and self-absorbed to realize that their actions can have long term consequences.

but this is a waste of my time. in between some of the angry comments I've made there's actually some good advice about table etiquette for yourself. you can hate me and think I'm a terrible player and still realize that you should reconsider some of the things you say in chat and the way you act around fish and other regs. so maybe if you can look past your attempts to one up people in ******ed flame wars you could actually get something out of this conversation.

Larg, I'm running at 11 BB/100 at 2/4 over 14k hands. Does that mean my "true" winrate is even remotly that high? No! Anything less than 50k hands is just a joke. And all good players know that.

fwiw I am a 2.5-3ptbb/100 winner @ 5/10 FR lifetime, although I haven't played it much in over a year since it seemed to get infested with SS'ers. Similar WR for 10/20 6m/FR over a 150k+ hand sample.

pretty sure I regularly have downswings that are greater than any you've ever had- just lost 50k in 3 days of 25/50 last week. And yet I will probably make that back in the next week

yes, I ran good vs you 2 years ago @ 10/20 FR...however you played such a basic ABC style that reading your hands was always super easy. And when you still stacked off pre with QQ when your 3bet range was QQ+ and AK vs my ep raise, i would shove/4bet and you still wouldn't fold isn't exactly me running hot.

someone wrote in the old regs threads about setting up their DB in pt3 to run off of an external HD so that they didn't have to keep it on their pc. anyone have links about how to set that up? looking to get a new setup and the first thing I want is to get my DB off of my computers.

You just act on this forum exactly like if you were a top 10-20+ reg, which is no the case. I consider you like an average 5-10 reg right now. I'm pretty sure that most of the regs here see you the same way.
