haha yeah i remember jumping on youngdrew's left cause i PTR'ed him and he was a new guy down like 8k, and i kept thinking "holy **** AND he plays HU and multi-tables!" then song had to ruin it for me and tell me it was him

now that PTR doesn't have free searches i don't even bother looking people up anymore. i use like 1 or 2 searches a session

haha no way PTR got me hooked like crack when they first gave away the drug with unlimited searches. i can't believe they didn't get you to pay for the crack

If you're talking about non "vip" full tilt support, it'll probably be a few days.

NR, I have no idea what you are arguing about. Since you are familiar with the concept of risk of ruin, I'm pretty sure over half the regs ITT would not have been able to play the whole year at 2/4+ if they followed reasonable bankroll management with less than a 50 BI bankroll. When you play for a LIVING, do you really want your choice of games to be restricted in any way by your bankroll? And would you ever want more than a negligible risk of ruin? I mean you can disagree that 100+BIs is necessary, but you're never going to change my mind, and I think most people would disagree with you.

Well I was talking about life roll I mean 20-30 buy-in downswings definitely happen and I'm not ready to lose 30%+ of my net worth due to a completely standard downswing. Luckily I'm at the point where I have plenty of buy-ins for any game I'm +ev in and also I did say as a main game like I've bumhunted up to 25/50 before and I don't have 500k to my name...

LOL. If your mom was a concern, maybe picking "crapface" for a SN wasn't the best idea. :-)

did we ever figure out who is starting next year's thread? It's kind of happening in a few hours, haha.

i didn't want to hear this. I've actually pretty much taken the last week off to enjoy the holidays with friends and family and this makes me feel like a total lazy ass.

oh well can't go back in time now.

DFly, I can't make heads or tails of your post. You give no logical or mathematical basis for your position. I did. My point is that it is not EV-maximizing to play on a 100 BI roll, assuming you can beat stakes above those at which your roll is 100 BI.
