$1/$2NL. 9-handed.
V has been at the table about 45 minutes. 40yo black guy wearing some bling. He's a total action player. Playing lots of pots. (~75% VPIP). He's likely done a bit of bluffing based on his aggression but hasn't shown any down. He's made some OK folds, and had made it to showdown with some ragged cards that made good hands. He's straddling UTG and OTB every time. He's run his $400 buyin up to about $650 by smacking flops and getting paid. He seems to be a fairly typical action/gambly player that has a basic understanding of the game. Is splashing around a lot with other two action players on his immediate right and left.
Hero has been nitty due to running card dead. Has about $180.
V straddles to $7 UTG. Folds to hero in the CO who raises to $20 with A

Probably could have been a bit more I suppose. V calls.

. Not bad. V checks. Hero bets $20. In hindsight, could have been a bit more. Anything that calls $20 likely calls $25-$30. V calls.

V looks like he is going to cut out a huge bet. Then asks how much I have behind. When he sees the $140 he makes it $35.
Hero has 3 options.
a) flat, and hope V follows through with his bluff/thin value bet otr.
b) raise small, hope V doesn't realize how strong it is and pays it off.
c) shove, hope V is strong enough to call now.
