hero has 55. there is $50 in the pot on the flop and he bets $45.
flop is Td6s5s ($50)
then it goes over bet jam to around $800 and a player who had checked before him calls off around $700. both opponents are middle aged professionals, the jammer a little flashier than the caller. actually the ridiculous all in raise didn't concern me much but when a very cautious player decided to check / call it off all in vs a decent amount of demonstrated strength I figured I wasn't against AT.

Are you serious? Youre folding a set on this board for 40 bb?

Probably not folding here for 40xBB, although it's possible you're beat, or flipping a combo draw.

I'm not folding here for 100 BBs, let alone 40. Way too many draws / combo draws out there to be folding a set in this spot.

I'm never folding here unless one of the players have flipped their hands to reveal T-T or 6-6.
