Villain is a standard 15/11/3. No reads, seems solid.

Hero (MP3) ($485.30)
CO ($408.25)
Button ($248.45)
SB ($240.75)
BB ($400)
UTG ($461.15)
UTG+1 ($88.10)
MP1 ($80)
MP2 ($297.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with ,
UTG calls $4, 2 folds, MP2 calls $4, Hero raises to $22, 4 folds, UTG calls $18, 1 fold

Flop: ($54) , , (2 players)
UTG bets $32, Hero ???

1) Is it better to flat in position and bet if he checks the turn to take the pot down ?

2) Or just raise/get it in (but we are in good shape only against 7s8s or 7s6s) ? Because if he b/3b, he got 222/555 like always, isn'it ?

Raise/get it in. You're forgetting he's going to fold the flop a lot (usually a smaller pr) and even if he pushed bigger prs, its a coin flip anyway.

I would say most of the time a donk lead bet is weak or on a draw. I raise big here and look to get it in. Unless specifically up against a set, you're in fine shape.

Likin' the fancy hand post... What's the hand converter?

Well, in my limited experience there are three categories of donkers: 1) weak hand trying to steal, 2) draw, 3) monster looking for a raise. Plenty of ways to take the pot away from weak hands (usually). You want flush draws to get there (since you have the nuts. You don't want to raise a monster because altho you have outs, you are getting your money in behind.

I'm just going to give my usual "it depends on villain" schpiel and say it depends on what you think their donk most likely means (because different people donk for different reasons). Normally I like raising the donker with good but non-made hands tho, because most likely they are weak. But because we have the nut draw, if I think they can be on a draw or set, I like just calling and hope a 3rd spade comes down. Raising big on the flop could scare away weaker draws or make us get it in behind. I think we can still take the pot away from weaker hands on the turn.

solid 15/11 player is usually smart enough to not donk/fold against another solid player very often

although his limp/call is pretty bad so maybe he's not actually too solid

I think limp/call pre, and donking this flop is exactly what a 15/11 would do with 77. Raise, he folds, a huge mistake considering he has like 50% equity vs you, and you take the pot down straight up. That's what's great about these hands- you can push out his hands the coin flip with you, and when he does call, you still have decent equity. If the turn is a brick your equity decreases, so lets get the money in with our max equity. You also need to do this to balance for when you have a set.

Without history, I think his range is weighted towards sets, I prefer calling.

Call, you need spade because you are far behind most of the time.

If villian really is solid, you must have a low preflop raise percentage and he puts you on AA,KK, QQ and feels like he has high implied odds for set. His bet into you is likely a set and I like just calling flop. If he makes a big bet on turn he has a set and if he checks/makes a smallish bet then raise/bet and take it down on turn
