Sometimes I think I'm a spewtard and play like a complete donkament when I'm check-raised on the turn, imo. Just curious how most would play a couple of these hands...

i'd shove hand 1

hand 2 the whole point to just calling the flop was to wait for a blank to jam right?

Your lines are very very strong.

If you think villain can minraise AK on first hand, just shove.
Second one is an easy fold imo.

I don't understand why you would make such a big bet on the turn when you're not insta-shoving against his c/r.

#2

At first I thought it was an easy call, but Villain is not the PFA which makes a set more likely. He also has those typical setmining stats, you won't be good very often. But again, why do you bet so big there?

Shove both...both of these villians are most likely spewing hard at you with total airballs

I didn't realize my bets were so big. I can see betting more in the 100 range in hand 2, but how much are you suggesting to bet in the first hand?

Hand 1 is kinda lame, are you really b/fing there ever once you bet that big? Probably just shove, you're going to see KQhh or AKhh here often enough to justify that action. Plus, it's Party Poker amirite?

Hand 2 sounds more like 88/small op or a draw instead of a set, call or shove or whatever puts you all in

Hand 1: You made your decision when you bet the turn that big -- shove and hope he's overplaying AK or getting spewy with something worse.

Hand 2: Given the size of the pot I'm shoving. I'd really expect MP to bet out on the turn with any hand that has you beat after UTG+1 checks the turn, so I call and roll my eyes when the river is the T.

hand one i cant fold, it's aces

edit: actually no im pretty sure this line is always a monster, you can fold it, but I think getting it in isn't bad either

lol didn't read the action properly for hand 2, call

If you really think about folding to a c/r there, check behind. As I'm never folding AA against that guy, I bet $90-110 and ship in the rest on the river.

For hand 1...

Well, my problem was that I wasn't expecting a c/r on the turn here. When he check/called the flop, I figured he had AK, KQ or something like that and was just going to call down OR a draw that I could get him to keep calling OOP.

I couldn't imagine him having a set here and checking again on the turn, because I'm probably going to check behind with a vast majority of my range here. My main reason for betting (and betting so big) was to get value from AK.
