MP1 is 21/17 + aggressive 3b/4b over a large sample,

CO: $429.00
BTN: $453.50
Hero (SB): $415.00
BB: $612.00
UTG: $501.40
UTG+1: $563.60
UTG+2: $563.40
MP1: $422.40
MP2: $226.10

Pre Flop: ($6.00) Hero is SB with A Q
3 folds, MP1 raises to $14, 3 folds, Hero raises to $44, 1 fold, MP1 requests TIME, MP1 calls $30

Flop: ($92.00) 9 2 A (2 players)
Hero bets $60, MP1 calls $60

Turn: ($212.00) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $124, MP1 requests TIME, MP1 calls $124

River: ($460.00) Q (2 players)
[color=red]Hero ?

In retrospect I might make flop 76, but villian has a fairly low cbet fold %. Help me understand villian's thought process here, as I respect their game but dont get this hand at all.

Don't see how you get away from this. You have less than 1/2 pot bet, so I just get it in. I think that small turn bet priced him into calling with a draw (and maybe a pr like TT, JJ). Hard to see him having clubs since the Ac is on the board (altho I guess he could have T9c).

I probably presented this hand wrong, but I did shove river. Considering results, is this a standard play? Villian's line really surprised me and stuck out for some reason, but I have trouble just passing it off as bad play/tilt.

Spoiler:
he had JTc

Villain's thought process: He was just floating you and probably would have tried to take it away if you checked the turn, thinking he might be able to get you off a big pair with your smallish flop bet. If you fire turn and a blank hits, he folds.

When he picks up a gutshot and flush draw, he feels like he's priced in to call the turn. After putting in $228 of your $415 and only having $187 behind, he might feel like on the turn he's calling $124 to win $336+$187=$523 since you're probably not going anywhere on the river if he hits his hand. Perceived implied odds are a maniac's best friend.

I would probably bet turn a little bigger, but end result is probably going to be the same if you feel like being results-oriented. You played the hand fine imo, just got kind of coolered. There is no way I am not shoving that river, esp. w/ Ac on the board.

You just got coolered, but i guess that CRAI here is the correct play, expecially vs an aggro villain.

Who is the villain?

Low Cbet Fold % = Bet bigger, not smaller. If you bet bigger on flop and turn, river becomes easier. You can then bet or c/c / c/r AI depending on how aggro villain is.

Well I alluded to it, but if you are going to bet the turn, I think you bet bigger to price out draws. If you don't want to make a fuller bet, then I think checking is better than the 1/2 pot bet. The 1/2 pot bet is only going to drive out the 1pr hands you beat. You basically bet 1/2 the pot which is going to price in most draws. I think that was a bad call by villain on the flop with an A-hi flop in a 3bet pot (esp since you're not an overly aggro 3bettor) and just an isd, but maybe if you made a slightly more solid flop bet, he may have folded then too.
