Hi there.

The game is 1000NL on pacifik

Villian is almoust unknow. - which makes this a bit tricky - His been at the table for less then 2 orbits, and I havent seen him make anything unusual.

We both have aprox 900 usd

Its folded to me in cut off. I make a 4BB raise. Villian calls on the button, the blinds fold

FLOP: 5qT POT = 95 usd

I Bet 80. And villian calls

TURN: J POT = 255 usd

I bet 175, Villian Push. Leaving me to call 600 in order to win a pot of 1800

IMO its a clear call? whats yours?

The best

Lars

Agree it's an EZ call. Villian could easily have 2 pair, combo draw, smaller set etc. If he has the straight then it's just a cooler.

only realistic hand he's holding that beats you here is 89 maybe k9 if he's loose of diamonds. That being said the rest of his range is crushed, insta call.

Call. Villain could be pushing with any number of drawing hands here. If behind, you still have plenty of outs to improve.

How about this hand, thats a bit similar. Its played on on-game 1000NL

Villian is LAG (vol/pot = 22% Preflop raise = 9%) based on +8K hands
Futhermore is he a winning player during the 8K hands

We both have a stack of 1200 usd at a 1000NL table

Villian raises 35 UTG, its folded to me in cut-off and I reraise to 120 with AA

The flop is AKJ POT = 255

Villian check
I bet 200
Villan calls

The turn is T POT = 655

Villian push his last 950

Im to call 950 to win a total pot of 2555. I need a 37% chance of winning the hand?

What range would you put him on?

actually it's 950 to win 1605. I would expect to see aq here from villian. Then again if he is very aggressive and tricky this would be an excellent spot to rep the q with a flush draw semibluff.

it's dificult to put him on ak here as it was HORRIBLY misplayed by villian who just got lucky. If you said in the first post he was like a 11/2/0.5 then ak would be considered very possible in my mind lol. Not much you could have done other than stack off.
