My brain really trips me up in these spots....Villian is loose and stationy (27/10/0.9)...He steal raises, so I figure AJ is near the top of his range of hands, and likely better so I just call.....
Then, I get what I want and flop top pair, and of course now im worried he had an overpair (Shut up weak minded Brain Talk).....and then confusion sets in....
Thought 1..CR...wait, too weak for that..or am I/
Thought 2: Donk turn...and expect him to fold, or protect my hand vs draw......he doesnt...
Thought 3: Value bet....he was very unaggressive (af less than 1) so I could safely fold to a raise and get called by hands im beating...some im losing to...

I dont think the hand is well played...some insight?

i like making a smallish flopraise here, betting most turns, and then c/c most rivers to induce bluffs

Umm if you make a smallish flop raise - what turns are you not betting? Are you check/ folding all that you don't bet or check- calling some? Or even check-raising! My main thinking is like I don't really know where I'm at and raising might not help so I'm just gonna keep the pot small.
I do like the idea of leading the turn, but yea I check- call river. Also it makes me sick when I get min raised or legit raised here when I make a bet like this. Not sure if I induced or not.

Thats kinda what I thought with not raising the flop....I decided to lead the river because of how passive he was playing...less than 1 aggr....

I think flop and turn are well played given the villain's wide range, you have now narrowed it down a bit. I think ch/c is the best line to take on the river as I don't see him paying off much when you bet here and you lose all bluff catching.

c/c river depending on his bluffing """"""tendencies:"""""

flop raise imo not that bad cos 1. value raise against draws 2. raise for info. ofcourse against that speaks: OOP and shutting out his bluffs / getting rebluffed. i still raise this some % of time.
