Whats your impression of V? Any? Is he here to gambool (assuming so, if he has half his stack in within an orbit). Also, UTG+1 is still in hand, any impression of him?

obviously if UTG+1 wasnt there we'd be happy to crai vs. the shortie. with utg+1 lurking there and no read i probably prefer a flat. as gross as it is, probably not a huge EV mistake.

read on UTG+1 makes a difference to me here because if he's a fish he could show up with JJ/ TT/ JT type hands here, where if he's more of a TAG/reg im really only worried about 55 and happier to cib

Preflop- AIDS
Flop- get it in and then go get your AIDS checked out. We can treat that now.

Bad open. Really bad call.

I'm a huge nit and don't raise utg with Axss, but 3x open 6 handed is that bad? I never usually play short handed but thought I was supposed to widen up a bit

The button who is deep 3bet to 30, and no one else is going to fold, how is that a bad call? Sure someone back raises and I'm out 6bb

I'm guessing you misinterpreted it it as short stack being PF aggressor

On my phone so I gotta be brief...

Ya that open is too light and waaay too small. Calling the 3 bet is really bad.

For reference, at a standard 6max table online I'm dumping ATo utg. Doesn't completely translate but the idea is to still be pretty snug up front. You're just in LP more often which is where you can go wild.

Calling 3 bets oop in any size game is generally a loser.

Utg+1 is a tag/reg/50s headphones

V is an African American man in his 40s, came from 1-2, says he wants to play some 2-5 before he goes home, bought in for 200

shipping it, expecting a fold from UTG+1 almost always here, expecting V to call majority of the time and to generally have 12 outs when he does

probably a -ev open, after that you just gotta push it in and hope he folds or you spike

6 handed I like opening suited aces utg. I don't mind a 4bet pf as his silly 3bet sizing isn't always strong. I am raising the flop always.
