I agree with this. It's very hard to play 77 against a wide range when the player is sticky and we have little fold equity. This is something I've learned over the last 2 years. I think set mining 77- is more profitable against fishy loose players.
Same reason I'm not a fan of blasting the pot OTB against a limp army with AXo where x less than 9 or 8. Too many people flatting with A medium kicker and higher and Vs willing to see the hand to the end, often ending up in us value towning ourselves.
