This except I’m not folding to a jam (still beating 88, JT, T8, 86, random bluffs with a 7 or 9 in them).

Agree with davomalvolio. Bet and don't fold.

Edit: How does V2 see you? Probably doesn't change much.

He probably sees me as some sort of abc player: we have just played a handful of sessions together and I haven't shown anything too out of line.
I'm pretty sure he thinks he has an edge on me.

Doesn't change how I'd play it.

If you have a frisky image I like a jam on the river. 1/2 players hate to fold. Ive seen decent players call down a 1.5x bet with QQ several times in similar situations. Maybe he has 66. J10. QQ. All those are about as likely to pay off 200bb as 100bb.

Please make sure to always mention the potsize on all streets in your hand history. In this case the pot is ~140 and you have ~210 behind, so I might just shove here. If not, I'm at least betting close to pot. If he has me beat I'm definitely going broke, so I'm not folding to a shove.

I am curious as to why you checked the flop after the initial raiser checked. That can't be good. You got away with it because the button decided to bet, but I think it's the world’s most obvious bet on the flop.

Good point.
V is pretty aggressive, so I thought he would have taken a stab at this flop quite often.
However, I admit that this may be part of a general leak of mine, i.e. not value betting enough.

Please put bets in instead of bb's if it's at all possible you'd get a lot more feedback too. I don't think he has a straight since he flatted the flop so just bet as close to pot as you can that you think he'd call. If you don't think a jam would fold out 2 pair, then go ahead and jam it's also an option but it will probably blow him off the bottom/middle of his range most likely. So basically bet as much as you think he would call. If he raises just make a crying call.

Because we’re deep and in position with a hand that can win a huge pot or steal a lot when the PFR misses?

Obviously not folding pre.

Not betting the flop looks like a pretty big mistake unless we’re extremely sure villain is going to bet.

If I counted correctly, there’s 67BB in the pot on the turn? I would bet bigger here, to charge the million +1 draws. That also makes stack sizes on the river a little less awkward because we can just ship on good cards without having to overbet significantly.

No no I agree with you Grease, I meant to ask the guy who said “fold pre” why we would ever EVER even consider that
