1/2. Effective stacks are around 350. V is weak calling station. In an earlier hand, V called a large bet on the river on an Ac8s9s3s6c board and folded after his opponent showed 89o.

Folds to V in the HJ who raises to 10. Hero in SB calls with AcJs. BB folds.

Flop (19 after rake) Kh9c7d

Hero checks, V over-bets the pot 20. Hero folds.

Should I have 3bet AJo here? Folded pre?

A 5x open from a loose-passive is never a call from either blind and especially not from the SB. SB != BB.

So it's always a 3-bet or fold with the ratio being dependent on 1. BB player type, 2. Stack sizes, 3. V player type.

I need to work on this in my game too when it comes to hands like QJs, ATs, etc etc.

I think fold pre is the way here. The 5x raise is too much. Could 3bet from the button in position though.
