Possible, although I’m skeptical he will be folding any Jx. The flop xr was pretty small so he’d be continuing often and Jx would be pretty high in range to fold turn.

Crusher definitely calls the check raise with a J against a player he thinks is capable of balancing the x/r range because he also bet with a range that includes worse hands than Jx.

If anything, judging by this comment thread, a lot of people are basically sets and a whole bunch of draws here and any Jack becomes auto call down when the board bricks off.

I think he would check behind with TT, 99 is a boat, he probably folds 55,66 on the turn. He might bet a missed fd or a hand like 34 that is counterfeit and 45 but its pretty advanced and aggressive to bluff the river thinking people are going to overfold rivers. I think he has a J or he flopped a set, there are a lot of them in his pre flop calling range.

I read some other posts, it sounds like you two have history so in that case I have no clue. If it were my buddy I don't think he's bluffing a lot here especially if he thinks I will find a call. What I first posted is what I'd do against the 1/3 guys down at the Cardhouse.

Yeah you can almost do the player pool estimates here. Some player pools are full of people incapable of folding an overpair here. If I go to other houses, people’s calling range here is like the null set.

Players matter as well. Older they are, the more likely I don’t have it if I go all in, for example.
