definitely a pyrrhic victory for the people in that thread. pretty confident it was that ike was a dedicated constitutional conservative who never believed Trump could win the Republican nomination and a bunch of the leftwing guys who he got into it with made some form of prop bet regarding if trump won/lost the nomination.

so basically they all lost in their own ways.

Yup. I don't recall what would happen if Trump didn't win, but his side was a perma if he did.

Was sad to see him go from this forum, but by the time he left the site he was only interested in politarding.

life and poker heater continues. Got a new job with an energy company that is opening an office in KC.

Actually accepted the offer right before WSOP and negotiated a 2 week break where I could play the main but had a freak death in the family and had to fly to Minneapolis for the funeral instead. I just imagine Im 10k richer.

Successfully was not stabbed while in Vegas.

i play probably 80% plo. i play nlhe to stay sharp but the money is in other games. It's gotten to where my edge is just way bigger at plo than nlhe and Im pretty comfortable playing 5T/20 at Aria or KR but Im probably breaking even playing T/20 at Bellagio. 5T games i sat in were good but you just gotta play solid and it's such a grind. Id rather play with a better class of criminal in plol.

Last year was the first time I've ever been to Vegas and didn't even step foot into Bellagio. Should have done it just for old times sake but whatever, I don't like 5T there THAT much and its a big trek from there to Aria.
