I use the JEFit fitness app, it's fairly basic and easy to use.
It says with my activity level, weight, and height I should be maintaining 3400 calories a day, with a base non active BMR of 2200. In order to lose weight I shoot for 1600 calories a day, which keeps me feeling pretty good.
This also allows for me to have a day or two throughout the week to have sushi or a grilled chicken salad for dinner instead of a shake.
