Yes, 2k cap makes sense, otherwise this gets too watered down
I vote for $1k + $1k rather than 3 short buys, but in no way is this a big deal to me (and he should be topping off, so this might be moot)

..and for everyone wondering about "which buyin am I on"... like APD said, there is no distinction. This is simply cash out - cash in = net.

What do you think about a $2500 cap? That would give him two 1K buyins and then a "last resort" 100bb. Personally I care more about seeing him play for the entire night then ROI. That's just me though....

Also I vote no restrictions what so ever for cali. If he usually puffs or has a drink before he plays, fine. He should be able to 'prepare" and play like he would on any other given day of his illustrious career.

I thought about the cap a little more and decided $3K will be the cap. If he gets all $3k then he had 3 1k BIs (if we decide to go that route) and if anyone backs out of this (decides they don't want to do it) then we have the added insurance that we will get at least a couple BI's.

Setting a date on the money dead line. I need all funds by March 17th. If you need a few extra days on that then PM me and let me know. I need to get The Sitaution handled that week and sent off to mpethy. Please make the deadline.

It's not about the money, it's the spectacle. Hopefully we get a good three hour show, and if anything comes back, nice but not critical. I do of course hope ILCD crushes and gets a real start on a bankroll.

I was thinking of a subtle change. Rather then "I manipulate boards" more active like Nike Just Do it, or Bodog Play Hard etc...
