As far as the buy in goes, I like 1k and top off when below 150 bb's or higher. If he gets below 50bb's he should get up and cut his loses.

I really don't see a reason to put a limit on when he has to stand up if he's up on the game. Let him play like he normally does. I wouldn't want him to double up in the 1st hours and then nit it up for a few orbits before leaving. I'd feel so unsatisfied.

Just throwing these out for discussion.

IMO, there's no effective or sensible way to control his play. If the show runs for 3 hours, he's gonna get like 90 hands. Variance is going to control his vpip in such a short session.

Plus, the idea here seems to me to be to sweat ILCD, not to sweat ILCD executing a strategy agreed on by the stakers.

Yeah, we gotta let ILCD do ILCD. Only stipulation is no "Big Game Shoving." Basically no shoving at the end like a spewtard to try and turn a profit. Otherwise, manipulate boards bruh!

For BI I say go $500, $500, $1k if on a 2k roll. 1k, 1k, 1k if on a 3k roll. For 2300-2999 roll BI for the white meat first (so 300-999) and then go 1k chunks.

From my recent experience, playing 200bb or deeper, with chip colors i wasn't used to, stakes i wasn't used to, and being surrounded by cameras and spotlights was EXTREMELY disorienting at first.

I suggest 100bb BI to start (always topped off, of course). Then after 2 or 3 orbits give him free reign to top off to the max (200bb).

Tao's advice is sound. Start at 100 until you are comfortable. You will be adjusting to a lot initially. Also, 100 isn't short - it's a mid stack.
