Don't blame you for skepticism - but the 11th is pretty firm this year. We can organize an "middle-old age" session. I know you are mostly coming for fun but if you like good cash games I think the games during "senior week" are some of the best. After all when do you think old guys like me with loose money and not much skill are in town?

Word. That was basically my thought until gf said she was coming on the weekend with a friend. Now I'm looking at 8th-13th. At least I can spend Sunday and Monday doing different Vegas things. Or sweating fw in the milly.

Kayak app is pretty cool once I realized you can save a bunch of different places and refresh prices for all at once.

These are the 5 I'm considering, either I have a relaxed place off strip with relatively alive $1/2 downstairs or I'm in prime location for the A/B/Ph triumvirate

just booked NYNY for 9 nights, from 8th til 17th as there was a pretty decent deal (think it worked out at about $1280 US including resort fee and all taxes) and I've had a couple of friends say it's a decent compromise between cheaper but tolerable quality. got it in Aussie dollars too, so it's a decent currency hedge for me as I'm bearish on the Aus$

can cancel up til 2 days before as well so may keep looking and am open to change if everybody else ends up in a different place
