Harrah's used to have a weird depressing room with old school tvs, but then they moved to a slightly less weird, slightly less depressing, but still lame area.

Haven't played cash there since the move, so can't speak as to whether the games got better or worse since. Played 1 tournament cuz a friend was in town & wanted to. Chopped it 4 ways, so obviously it's soft.

I told this story elsewhere, but tl;dr I did this once when traveling with my dad, and he was snoring hilariously loud. Turned on the fan as white noise--worked out really well.

an ex rugby teammate of mine A (a massive unit - 6 ft 4, probably 260lbs), once came up to stay with another teammate B in London.

we all went out drinking all day and got massively drunk. A stayed out with me when B went home and carried on drinking. A then got a cab to B's house a few hours later - 2am ish. A couldn't wake B up to get into his house and ended up breaking in round the back.

imagine B's next door neighbour's surprise (she was a mid 50s single woman) when she got up to take a piss in the middle of the night and found a 6 ft 4 drunk Welshman in her bath

Looked up reviews about Harrahs poker room...seemed to not be many games going and there were a lot of complaints about smoke as it's open and all the smoke from the floor drifts in. This was mentioned in a few reviews.

May not matter to some but I hate cig smoke and that would be a deterrent for me.

Bc F4O said so....
