Definitely don't want to switch casinos. Ace put in work at MGM so I definitely think that's the route.

I was just saying I don't feel comfortable with about 350-500 in front of me playing variations of baseball and games I have no idea how to play. I can handle a horse rotation, but dealers choice can get obscure, was my point.

In B4 nit.

Don you scurred or ygos?

I'm with Turtle. If it were up to me we'd play NLHE exclusively. It'll be smooth, quick, and with loss of all motor skills most of us can still play strictly on instinct.

Plus, didn't ya know it's the Cadillac of poker?

Sorry I'll miss the 1-1 game - I could have taught you guys to play St. Lucia style Cornfields (I think I may have posted about it in the chat thread a few hundred or few thousand posts up the line).

Another option for the 1-1 game - Svetin, courtesy of Greg Raymer (I had misread what he'd told me initially). I suggested this for the dgaf drinking game last year but was voted down.

Ah, you're thinking of Svetin. It's not two boards, it's a combo of PLO and draw.

Deal 5 cards per player (6 player max), first round of betting. You use a button and blinds like holdem or omaha. Deal a flop, bet. Make sure the dealer does not rush at this point, and does not burn. Next step is to ask each player, in turn, to put out their discards. Each player can draw from 0-5 cards. Earliest position indicates first, and separates the discards from the keepers. Once everybody has done this, then the dealer burns, deals replacement cards in turn, and immediately also deals the turn card. 3rd round of betting. River card dealt, final round of betting.

At showdown, half the pot goes to the best PLO hand, using 2 from your hand 3 from the board. Other half of the pot goes to the best draw hand, using all 5 from your hand.

Since it's not hi-lo split, odd chip goes to PLO hand. If two players are splitting the PLO or draw half, odd chip goes to early position.

It sounds like a split version of what I played at that one BARGE. Binions let us play Dealer's Choice. One guy chose 5 card Omaha where you may choose to play all 5 cards in your hand. I don't remember if it was hilo or hi.

I called regular old 5 card lowball draw because I never had played it, but they wouldn't add a joker.
