We started 6 handed and i was the only one who bought in for more than 80 dollars with the exception of 1 $100 stack. I stacked 3 guys twice and they left then really tight player hit and ran against the other guy at the table so he was steaming and wanted to play heads up. He added on $100 to give him $150 and I was sitting with about $550.

This player has made it clear he is strictly a recreational player who really just wants to play poker. He has been drinking heavily. He plays aggressive and likes to gamble.

This hand happened after about an hour of playing heads up. Villain has been getting ancy and trying to play big pots. He wants to win money fast at this point. He is getting impatient which was part of my plan as i have some decent experience playing heads up live especially to his 0 experience. I wasn't playing the game to his liking and it was tilting him quite well.

Villain is on the button with about $200 and raises to $12
Hero: holds 6 6 in the bb and decides to just call.
I felt a just call was better in this case so that he can't 4-bet shove. I don't like the idea of getting 100bbs in with 6s pf...

Flop: 4d 5s jd Pot:24
Hero: checks
Villain: bets 22
Hero: calls
Thought about raising but i was sure he would continue on with a bluff at least to the turn as he had been all night.

Turn: 7s
Hero: checks
Villain: bets 12
Hero:???

call. let him fire again. we can talk about ranges but im sure its pretty wide and if ur read is right and hes a monster why not try to make money off it and bet bigger?

we can raise but i cant how he calls us with a hand that doesnt beat us. if hes betting on a draw at the flop why slow down when the 7 a non scare card hits?

I'm going to let this stay here, but will note that FR players are generally bad in HU situations. We don't play that way often.

Unless a diamond comes on the river, I'm never folding.

What's his normal raise size pre, does he always cbet, how light will he call??

So many questions but As played I think anything but calling on turn seems gross without more info.

Yea i just wanted to know if i should raise the turn but it made sense for me just to call.
Most pots he was making between 8 and 12 with all of his hands. I wasn't calling every time pre flop which is why he was upset about it. He kept saying come on lets play poker stop folding... He was c-betting more than he wasn't and he was very willing to call light.

Hero: calls 12

River: 6s Pot:92

Hero: checks
Villain: bets 85
He just grabbed a stack of chips that he thought was 100 but was actually only 85. This was with little hesitation. I made him sweat for a while and he seemed uncomfortable.
Hero:???

Raising flop or turn does not makes much sense.
You would be turning a hand with good sd value into a bluff, and he wont
fold many better hands. So c/c flop + turn is def. the correct play.

As you dont have that much 8x and flush combos in you range villian
can be vbetting worse, and there is still the possibility
that he is bluffing, so i am calling.
