Live $5/$5 NL Buy-in $150-$400
Hero: $1,200.
Villain 1: $200
Villain 2: $600
I’m about three or four hours into the session and have been picking up quite a few hands and therefore 3-betting and raising pre-flop quite a bit.
Villain 1 has been playing for the same amount of time and villain 2 has just joined about an hour ago and already won a couple of pots.
I’m perceived as a tight player pre-flop.
The table is fairly loose pre-flop for small raises but tightens up quite a bit when the bigger bets are made.
Villain 1 is also tight pre-flop however looks to be tilting a little after losing a couple of big pots his stack an hour ago was about $900.
Villain 2 seems to have some idea what he’s doing however always raises to $15 whenever entering a pot. Never raises more and never limps. Although he has some positional awareness this doesn’t narrow down his pre-flop starting hands much. He sees a lot of flops maybe 30-40% and calls moderately sized pre-flop three bets lightly.

Hero is UTG+2 with Q

Villain 1 raises to $15
Hero raises to $70
Villain 2 Shoves for $200
Villain 1 thinks for a bit looks at me and my stack a few times and then calls
Hero?
Folding can’t be right cause the shover’s range is a tilty range like TT+ AQ+ and he knows that my three-betting range could be wider cause of Villain 2s tendency to raise to $15 every time.
Villain 1s range is also fairly wide however I narrow him down to 88+ AQs+ after he calls the shove. He does call 3-bets, even shallow stacked, lightly.
So Villain 1 has $400 back do I shove here and try to fold AK and maybe get a call from JJ or TT who’s a little tied to the pot. Shoving may also fold Villain 2 allowing me to get all-in heads-up against the tilty Villain 1.
How often do we think that Villain 2 is smooth calling pre-flop with KK or AA?
Do we normally interpret Villain 2s call as weakness? I mean we would have to right?
Call or Shove?
