Live 5/5 hand at a local casino w/ a max $500 buy-in. Looking for some general play advice over a few hand ranges, so I am not revealing my hole cards. I obviously played the entire hand with knowledge of what my cards were.

*****
Effective Stacks: Villain has ~$875. Hero covers.
Reads: Villain came over a big winner from the 20/40 limit game. Seemed to bet/call too often pre-flop and on the flop. But slowed down when the betting got large on the turn and river.
*****

Pre-flop: Hero is dealt 2 cards on the button.
3 folds. Villain in MP calls $5. HJ calls $5. CO folds. Hero on button raises to $25. SB folds. BB folds. Villain calls $20. HJ calls $20.

Flop (~$80): 7 3 10
Villain checks. HJ Checks. Hero bets $50. Villain raises to $150. HJ folds. Hero calls $100.

Turn (~$280): K
Villain bets $200. Hero ???

Note: After this bet, Villain has approximately $500 left in stack.

1. What are the strongest hands in your range that you are folding?
2. How strong of a hand would you need to call this bet?
3. What types of hands are you raising with? If raising, is shoving the only realistic option?

Well he limp-called preflop and c/r'd a fairly dry ten-high flop. I'd say he either flopped a set or thinks you have whiffed overs and is trying to make a move.

You said he usually slowed down on the turn when the pot got big, but in this case he still found it in his heart to lead for 3/4 of the pot after you called his c/r and a K hit on the turn. I think you can give him credit for a hand and fold just about everything here.

I agree with Tom1975

I don't play this high (1/2), but I'm folding anything but a set, which I'm raising. AQ hearts is tempting to call with (not quite getting the odds), but If I decided I wanted the variance to play AQh, I'd probably just push. (Yes, I think if you are raising, taking him all in is the only way to go.)

Hero can have a set, overpair, 98 or AT/KT. With this read on villain I don't think calling the flop with any of those hands is bad. Hero should never be holding AQh here though as I don't think it's a good idea to float live players with air.

Given your read it's likely villain has at least two pair. I'd estimate villain's range at KT/77/33/TT/air (a very low% of the time). I would shove our sets, call with 98hh and fold all other hands (This includes KT).

Good point that hero would never float w/ AQ (I hope). Looking at turn and hands I'd play or might play
