I'm dealt AdKh UTG + 1.

UTG folds.

I raise to $20.

5 callers including big blind. Pot is $120.

Flop is Kd 9c 5c.

Big blind checks. I bet $120.

Villain calls. Everyone else folds. Villain is not as loose as the rest of the table but has been calling more and more due to impatience (I think). He plays OK. He has about $500 and I have him covered.

Turn: 2s (Pot is $240)

I check. Villain bets $80. I call

River: 3s

I check. Villain bets $175. I call.

1. Should I have raised more pre-flop?
2. Should I have bet less on the flop?
3. What about the turn and river play?

1. Definitely raise more preflop.
2. I think your flop bet is fine since you're against so many players. If it were just 1 or 2 other guys I'd probably bet less.
3. I bet the turn. Its a pretty good board for AK, and not betting this seems silly. Its hard for a hand to connect with that board and beat you.

If I'd bet the turn I might check the river (with the intention of calling most bets). It kind of depends.

As played I'm not sure what you should do on the river. I guess checking is fine... Definitely call.

What jj said +1

Why did you give up with TPTK? You hand turns into QQ-TT trying to catch bluffs, or FD....possibly a weak K

How does he play his draws? He might be on the FD also w/ KcJc, KcQc. He's betting so thin that it seems like he is weak, or drawing.

This hand is too underrepped. What about a river shove? Make it look like we missed the flush, and maybe he will call with his weak hand. Or is a crai better?

i like the river check given he bet on the turn

wait ! how the hell is the turn put (240) ?
Shouldnt it be 360 ? flop 120+raise 120+call 120 = 360 ?

you raised about right going in. after the flop you need to start deciding how much money you are going to put in this pot. the flop bet was the pot which is okay. then you checked the turn. i dont know why. but then he makes a tiny bet. you now have to decide if you are going to put much more money in this pot. if you are, raise him right there. you are starting to get most of your stack in anyway so pick a point to do it.
