Since your image is "spewy" you can't check back turn when you are likely ahead. V should call you down with all kinds of Tx hands here.
Funny thing about Tx here is that his range should be almost split between kickers greater than a T and lessor kickers that make 2p. Since we can discount T6 and T7 that really leaves V's Tx range as T8, T9, JT, QT, KT, AT
the only downside to betting river here though is that we don't give V the chance to bluff a busted flush draw. Unfortunately, you didn't provide much description of V's tendency in the OP. You said he was godawful but that doesn't tell us if he is aggressive awful or passive awful which makes a difference in how you should play river.
If he is aggressive awful then you want to c/c river
If he is passive awful then you want to shove river
as played, shoving river is thin but with your image should be +EV. Most playable Tx combos are weighted towards broadway Tx which you beat. Its thin though but fine...
