Villian is loose and SUPER aggressive, loving to push people around and playing LOTS of hands. I have $60 on the table and am currently the chipleader, Villian has $30.

I'm in the SB with AQo. UTG limps, 3 limpers, MP raises to $2, 2 callers, HJ reraises to $5, Villian (CO) shoves all-in. Button folds.

Here's my thought process: This is a huge pot, While Villian's playing against multiple opponents, I'm not sure he knows that this is a bad spot to shove, and he may just be thinking that the pot's large enough to take down now with a shove. Sure, he has cards, but which cards? AK has me dominated, as does AA and I'm a dog to KK and QQ. But I could be up against another AQ, AJ, JJ, ATs, KQ, TT, 99, 88, and there's enough money in the pot to make a race profitable.

I decided to snap-call the shove. All other players folded. Did I make the right move?

Spoiler:
Villian turned over AJs, a 27% dog. Then spiked a jack on the turn. Ah well, I got my money in good, and later on, I felted him and made my money back and then some when my 87s on the button flopped trip 7s vs his 74o he was trying to steal with preflop. Improved to a flush by the river.

I'd fold. I doubt it's a huge mistake either way given the amount that is already dead in the pot, but you run the risk of someone coming in behind you. You already have MP and HJ interested in their hand enough to raise. Also, your hand is rarely dominant (very unlikely someone does this with a worse Ace or Queen), but you can easily be dominated. You're much more likely to see an enormous hand here than you are 88 etc

(Didn't read spoiler) Yeah, I'd fold too. There's a lot of action left behind you, someone here could easily have AK (dominating)or Ax (eating up outs).

I'd fold because of action going to go on behind me and maybe be behind other guy's range.

Folding AQ before the flop really sucks, but in this case, you must do it. Sometimes you will be absolutely crushed, sometimes you will be flipping, and very rarely will you be up against a dominated ace. Given this, you would need way tastier pot odds to make this call, and that's only against villain. Adding that you have a bunch of limpers, a raiser and a 3-bettor left to act, throw away AQ with only having contributed .25 to the pot.

Even if you think you're leaps and bounds ahead of villain's range, if you're at a table with players who play this passively pre, and have position on a maniac, look for spots where you have a much larger edge than this one. They are plentiful.

Snap w/ AK, probably still call with AQ.

I think this is an easy fold.

There were 4 limpers, then a MP raise, then 2 people call, then a LP re raise, then another re raise from LP, now action is to us and we are facing 3 raises - and after we act there are 8 players left to act.
