Mods please lock if too generic/broad.
I want to start a discussion on whether at LLSNL it's possible to achieve steady non-showdown winnings, and if so, what lines and/or specific HH's illustrate yes/no.
My thought is that on the BU/CO, if the line-up is weak-passive in front (ESP. from the blinds), the herd mentality of cascading folds makes it profitable to raise ATC in LP to 5-6bb, get 4-5 callers, and bet 2/3-3/4 pot on many board textures.
Ex from last session:
3 limps to me OTB, I raise 8
2
to $12, 4 callers including SB/BB, one limper folds.
I plan on betting all A-hi dry boards, and any fd+pair, if I pair the board or have TP on something uncoordinated (863r) I'll expect it to check through, take a free card, and I'll be looking for 2pair/fd to continue OTT
Flop: ($60) A
9
2
Checks to me, I bet $40, all fold.
Obv one of the best flops for my plan, but other Ahi uncoordinated boards would be equally successful IMO.
