1/2. Average villains, neither too good nor too bad. Hero kinda tilty and spewy tonight. Second and half buy in. Villain 1 knows that. Villain2 been to the table ~ hour, villain3 ~ half hour.
On to the hand
V3 limps from MP, couple of limpers, i limp from button with black 88, V1 makes 17 from SB, V2 calls from BB, V3 calls, rest fold, i call.
Flop 9h8d4h
V1 bets 65. V2 calls. V3(~225) goes all in. Hero (~ 380) go all in. V1 (~400) tank tank fold. V2(+~200) goes all in.
I m pretty sure V3 has 99 or 44. So i m way ahead or way behind. V1, is a late 20s asian girl, most of the hands she has gone to showdown are sets. Won some big pots with sets but had also lost 400BB pot in a set over set. So her range is TT+. V2, i dont have much read on. Haven't played much hands with him and i cant see him as i m at seat 5 and he is at 7. I said i m playing tilty. So his range is pretty wide. Could be sraight draw, flush draw or both.
Should i have just called ? With V3 there is no redraw, either i m way ahead or way behind. V1 is pretty much over pair. My fear was, if i just call, V1 might call with overpair which might price in V2 to call with his draws. With middle set, its pretty hard to win four way. And the pot is already big. So i just wanted to take it down.
So if i know two villains behind me have an overpair and a draw, should i try to push them out or rope in. We know we are going all in no matter the turn or river cards in case i rope them in.

All in. Always. Someone would have to show me 99 to keep me from putting my money in the pot.

raise PF. This is a top 10% hand, and we have the button.
Even if we have no fold equity, we want to build the pot in position when we have a strong hand like 88.
The rest of the hand is extremely trivial.

I'll mix limping and raising 88 on the button so I like the PF limp call.
OTF, w a PSB, call, and all in ahead of you, GII. You could flat hoping for over calls, then jam turn but as played, you got one over call anyway.
Middle set is a powerhouse on this flop but hope for running black 2s since you're most likely against some combo of OESD, NFD and over pairs.

I'm raising pre for value 100% here. Post flop is extremely easy shove. Since this is a thread I am assuming you ran into 99 but it's a total cooler if that's the case.
