5-10NL full ring

Preflop:
I (UTG) raise with QQ to 35, 2 folds, maniac raises to 60, everybody folds, I raise to 215, maniac calls.

Flop A99:
I check, he bets 200, I call.

Turn 2:
I check, he bets 200, I call.

River K:
I check, he checks.

This maniac was 88/45/2.7 after 76 hands.

Comments on all street? My actual question is the turn, should I maybe push in there?

Well, interessting hand.
Maniac range is very wide. 22-jj imo. KTs-AKs, he is on the NFD very often here I think. I dont think he plays Acerag here, but without stacksizes I cant tell you. I might push turn if we are not deep.

Please enlighten me as to why you would think this to be an option.

I am also interested in why you chose to check the flop after how preflop went down...please offer your thought process on the whole hand so we can help you dissect it...

I chose to go in checkcall mode on the flop because I thought this maniac could bluff his stack off but also could fold a lot of crap if I would bet, basically way ahead way behind.

On the turn when he bet 200 again I quickly considered pushing the turn because of the betsizing, I did just checkcall again as you can see cause he still could bluff his stack off and fold to a push. And I probably sort off automatically checkcalled again (while thinking of pushing) cause it was my initial plan.
If there was no concept of betsizing I certainly would have checkcalled down without thinking. But when a fish or someone bets the same amount again I think it often means call me again, don't fold or raise. Because of this I think I could have pushed the turn, just because he bet 200 again. Because he bets 200 again, I think there is a stronger chance he would call a turn push but would check a lot of rivers behind when I do call. That's why I think pushing the turn could be a better play here. It's pacific so I don't know his mucked hand, but I would put him on a low-mid pocketpair here.
