2/3NL

villian is weak tight player, often cbet folding to aggression, calling 3bets oop w almost his entire range seen calling w T9, AJo oop vs 3bets. His smaller sized pfr have not been strong hands.

On to the hand:

Villian opens $7 in middle pos.

Hero 3bets to $25 w K9 (3bet to iso and cbet flop and take it down since he calls light pre but range is so wide I can get a fold to cbet)

folds to villian who flats

FLOP

QTx two hearts

Villian Check, Hero bets $30, villian calls

Turn A

Good barrel card or smacks villians range?

I don't think you're deep enough for this kind of play. If you know you don't have any FE on the 3-bet anyway, at least make it smaller to give yourself a better postflop SPR. With an SPR of 3 OTF he's going to stack off really light, and you might end up accidentally committing yourself sometimes.

I like your plan. Villain is seen to play to loose pre flop and fold to much on the flop. You get more money in when he calls and then make his life miserable post flop bombing in position.

To answer your question, yes you MUST barrel this turn. Keep the pressure on. If your going to make plays like this you must be willing to follow through and double barrel. The Ace is a great scare card for you to bet, though I'd be betting every card in the deck in this spot.

This guy isn't the type to raise either, so rarely will he punish your turn bet. Keep in mind even if your called you have 12 outs going to the river here. This is a must bet on the turn.

I think a free card is probably best. I also think if you do bet hre you have to bet most rivers.

What is your turn bet sizing? Keep in mind at this point the pot is $115 and we have $120 behind.

I can't see any reasonable turn sizing where we have any fold equity at all on the river.

When you make plays like this what range do you think thier calling 3 bets....

I really have not thought about it too much but I would imagine it's something like
AQ AK AJs ATS QQ-88...KQs KJS QJs...

Now on that flop what hands call your bet...

AQ KQs ATs KJs QQ-TT...QJs AJh

Now what folds of this too a second barrel...

KQs QJs JJ and thats it...I'm to lazy to count comboes but it looks like you have very little fold equity.
