V - Really wide station. This guy loves to gamble. Chases draws and calls a ton post. Gets there with ridiculous hands. The kind of guy that burns multiple BIs until he runs his Q8o into a board like A-J-3-9-T and guts everyone. Bets his weakly made hands and cant let go of 2pair unless the board is like As-Ks-Js-Ts-8h or something. Just sat down an orbit ago with 400 and bled it to 325$ limp calling pre. UTG.

H - Covers. Late in his session. Up big. Wants to go home but people like V keep sitting down and H has been getting some hands. BTN. Covers.

You have J-high. He bet into you on the turn. (I'm torn between agreeing that he's just going to call anyway, so why cbet flop when we mostly whiffed, and saying why not cbet this range? Don't we need to, on Q85r?)

You said he's wide and he bets his weak made hands. Which still beat you. Bluff catch for 1/3 pot, OK. Sure. I think you lose most of the time though.

Per Grimstard's post, how's he reacted when people bet strongly into him? A la the overbet pot turn move that seems to be trendy these days?

I like checking the flop. Seems like a bad board to double barrel after a club or K comes.

As for the hand, I like a bet on the flop. Turn is fine -- I don't see a reason to raise now. River is a fold vs a station.

Is the turn a call because you have implied odds if you make your straight or flush? It's a big bet I'm not sure you're getting a price here

i think flop check is not that good and now you fold regardless of villain description (even more so vs station who bets large ott and blocks river). people are going to think you rep exactly 6x by raising the river and the only 6 you can really have is 66. if he's fish he wont even go that far, just he raised preflop how can he have a 6. also awful cards to bluff with here in general (dont want to have J / T / clubs i think). turn is interesting but probably call > raise vs described v
