Hero(400)
V1: girl probably mid 20's , plays pretty straight forward, not really capable of running many bluffs, loose/passive, in the CO (180)
Loose/passive table

4 limps and I look at KcTc OTB, I raise to 15, given how passive the field is here I feel like I could size up to 17 or 20? I never really experimented with raising for 20 in a spot like this, however if i feel I am going to go MW a lot when raising 15 then I should entertain the idea of over limping or raising bigger

I honestly felt like 15 would narrow the field a bit here, do you guys think over limping or raising bigger to 20 would be better options?

4 callers; F: 664 (ccx) (75); It is x'd to me, seems like a stnd cb spot, I cb 45; wide calling ranges pre so I could easily run into 6X, however i feel like x'ing this flop is really bad with this many players in the hand

Folded around to V1 in the CO who shoves for 120 more; I ran the numbers and worst case scenario ( if she only has 6X) the call is slightly -EV

I don't see her jamming FD's here or OESD's , but she could have some monster draws, and if she ever does this w/ 77-99 then my equity just spikes, problem is that she is so passive and scared that I feel she would just flat these hands

anyways I make the stnd call here based on the pot odds, I think Pre-flop is the most interesting inflection point here but I am open to feedback on any street

id rather cbet this flop with air that your hand as with these many players in somebody has trips too often and you dont want to fold. so id just check the flop

pf if you're going to raise here make it like 20-25. you also have to like variance. if you get it HU or 3 way be prepared to fire multiple barrels with nothing against some players depending on their stack size. so depends on your comfort level

limping is ok too. certainly makes the hand easier to play.

With shallow stack sizes I'd overlimp. If everyone has >400 then I would make it 20. 15 typically won't get many folds IMO.

AP bet/call flop is fine

Sizing at 1/2 varies a lot from table to table. That said $15 would be the smallest I would be raising over multiple limpers. $20/$25 is more likely to work. And that sort of pricing does make raising marginal.

What sorts of hands do villains limp? When raised to they fold or call? If villains limp super wide then raising is good no matter if they call or fold. If you get multiple callers on wide ranges variance will be big but EV will also be higher. If they limp wide but only call with tight ranges your profits come from taking the money preflop, post flop you will need to be careful.

The situation to watch out for are villains with a tight limping range who are limp/calling hands like AK/AQ/AJ/KQ/JJ/TT. Against those villains your hand isn't strong enough for a raise.

What’s the strongest hand you guys limp here? Are you limping KJ, KQ?

They are definitely limp/calling super wide

I think there is small chance they are limping those broadways bc most of these players will make a small raise w/ those hands

KTs was def on the border btwn raise and overlimp , I honestly feel like I had the best hand pf for sure, make some weak AX was out there
