The hand played in a 2-5 table during the EPT Malta. We play on the table for 1 hour and we have 1.3k in front of us (started from 1K) and there is one new player on seat number 1 after a long time with the same players at the table.
No history between us as we played only 3-4 hands. The only "read" we have is he stacks his chips with no order. 100-25-5-5-5-25-25-1-1-5 just random piles of chips.
Hero is Button with KK
Vilain is BB with 1K stack
Utg opens to 15
MP call 15
Hero raises to 65 from the Button
Vilain is grabbing randomly 2 piles of chips and instantly throws them in. After the count the raise is 245e
MP folds
Hero?
he obviously like this hand but doesn't seem that experienced. Think this is a 4bet GII all day long. I like making it like 500 something rather than the straight shove but that is fine too. some people just won't want to call off the whole stack so early into the session.
Calling seems like a decent option. There's enough left behind that he might decide he "doesn't want to flip for his whole stack" and folds QQ/AK for the rest. You can also fairly easily muck your hand on Axx. I don't mind 5-betting either.
I am the guy who jammed KTs 240bb deep so who am I to even consider folding here. But I really don't think it is quite as much of a fistpump GII at these stack depths facing a cold 4bet and the "random/careless chips toss" live tell.
That said, it's a readless gambly looking dude and its at a big tournament. I'm not folding. Minraise/call seems like a slick play here, or just call/GII flop.
