The reasons you moved are good. Knowing yourself as a player is a key skill.

I would recommend working on your game though; learn where you can be a bit more action/aggressive. Learn how to be less nitty and exploit different images, etc.

But until you are there, absolutely was moving correct.

Just some quick points on results:

- I wouldn't consider folding horrible; I wouldn't fold here, but I admitted in my first post that it's certainly not a fistpump (it's a sigh call, imo)
- I wouldn't show my hand; to induce someone to show their hand, try another tactic that doesn't involve you shoving yours; one I use all the time is tapping the table, laughing, and saying "nice bluff sir" (this gets an amazing amount of shows for me)
- not so sure I would change tables based on this; at this point it sounds like you have a pretty good read on this guy and that's a good/helpful thing

I get that we want to show to make us feel better and get some sympathy to not be alone in our agony, I really do.

Spoiler:
what I don´t get is that we are leaving before giving anyone a chance to hand us that well deserved sympathy!

Old super tight white guy check raises your over pair OTF for half your stack? This is a turbo muck for me. What is a super tight old man calling your flop raise and check raising the flop that you aren't already crushed by? AT? even that's a stretch.

Folding to the flop raise is awful. (And yes I've seen results) He has more combos of JJ-QQ alone than he does sets. That's without even taking into account players that will raise TPTK here (and there are plenty who do so) because they "put you on AK"

Showing that you will fold KK to a flop raise on a bone dry board is the nut low. Any info you gleaned from him (and you got lucky that he even showed his, I wouldn't) is far outweighed by the info you just voluntarily donated.
Then wherever you play has FAR better players than where Dumbo and I play.

I’m in WAY after results, but I would have turbo mucked here too.

There are just some players who play face up. Why donate to them?

Now if player description was 20sWG with headphones and hoodie, MAYBE the hands more interesting... as is... don’t second and third level think a level one player...
