Not much history with villain, he seems like a TAG, haven't seen him do anything too crazy but seems solid.

UTG limps, Villain limps, Hero raises to 15 with KK, Button calls, BB calls, and both limpers call. Pot ~ 75

Flop: 9104

Check, check, Villain bets 25, Hero makes it 60. Villain thinks for a little and calls. Pot is now 195

Turn: 9

Check, Hero bets 75. Villain tanks for 90 seconds or so and shoves all-in for 75 more. Looking back on it now it should have been an instant call. But I tanked for a couple minutes and finally called.

My question is on the flop. I know my raise was way too small. How much should I have raised it? And if I raise it to that said amount am I ever folding to a shove?

more pre, make it at least $20. make his flop bet $100. then just stick the rest in on the turn.

I agree you could have raised more preflop, but all in all, you played it OK and definitely not terribly. As to tanking before calling on the turn, don't even worry about it.

Looks like a loose table preflop. You raise as much as you think it takes to get 1 or 2 callers.

yeah i agree. make the flop bet about 100. 60 accomplishes nothing, just pricing him in

Im not concerned with preflop action, my question is on the flop.

If I make it 100 what do I do if he shoves? If he calls, what is my action on the turn?

if you make it a 100 and he shoves you have to call on the flop.

and i'd go down with this hand on the turn after he calls the flop...assign a range to him. such as A10 AK-AJs, QJ. K10....any other combo draw..

Obviously, but my point was I didn't want people to say I should have raised to 18 or 20. I think it's table dependent and with a $12 raise I thought I could get it down to 1 or 2 villains.

I've seen KK played much worse, you were fine.

Raise more pre. Raise flop to $75-90, ship the turn, never folding after he donk bet this flop. He has a T so often and that 9 just cut his outs in half.
