+1 You say he calls down 3 streets. Has he c/r before? What was his holding? If he is one of those that call down alot and never raises unless he has the goods, you can think about a fold. If he is aggressive here many times, than I never fold. Although, I don't ship.
he does call down 3 streets but the only cards that beat me are AA, any 3, 77 or 55. I definitely could see him c/ring 88+ and even A7, considering everyone has been playing at him... so I think he has the notion that people know he's a lag tard, so if he has any part of the board, hes gonna play strong thinking everyone will play back at him with weaker holdings... (run on sry)
he ended up having 73o. not being results oriented, just thot if that deep, cud u fold KK to that action w/ that board at 1/2
Against an unkown I think this is a standard fold (he shows strength twice... checkraising and raising small). So the question is... can this specific villian bluff here?
I like preflop sizing a ton. I think straddled pots are one in which people start clicking buttons furiously and I think this size is plenty big. The other players at the table don't adjust correctly and see the 15$ as 15$.
You say his raise sizing is horrible because of stack sizes, what size is better? Almost no size preflop is going to drastically change our ability to play for stacks post flop.
WRT to the hand, the flop bet is good. He can have a ton of 67/45 hands here (pair+gs) that actually have decent equity vs. us. We should be charging these hands by betting ~pot in my opinion and we basically do.
As played, I'm not going to 3bet shove the turn. We have plenty behind to keep playing the river as poker. Has this guy bluffed scarecards ever? It'd be annoying if he shoved 4/6/7 rivers as bluffs (like a good player would) but he doesn't sound good.
I call this bet and deal with his river action IP.
Keep in mind: sets are hard to flop (straights are harder) and turning trips is hard.
We lose to very few combos of hands, and he can pick the turn to raise worse hands too bc he's a fish.
