Hero gave up 20% equity on turn and that’s a massive laudable success?
If he’s only betting a range of weak made hands like AJ/QQ, then he just got Hero to fold the only hand on turn that he’s ahead ahead of. Meanwhile Hero always continues with hands that beat Villain. I don’t see how that’s a good play. It’s a WA/WB spot for V with AJ/QQ. He should check flop for sure with those hands.
If Vilain has AQ/KQ with this line, it’s a different discussion. But IMO this small donk bet line on a draw heavy board is usually just a weak made hand.
