Nope hes actyally a very solid player, ive played with him and talked to him on aim.

i was down 20k at 2/4 over 150k hands a few months ago. The only way i managed to get out of it was through alot of long hours grinding. I think the most I played was 18k hands in 1 day.

Take a short break from poker if you cant play longer sessions and come back ready to grind back up.

I think so but also you should be paying your taxes monthly or quartly if your filing as a pro to keep from paying uncle sam a penalty at the end of the year. They charge you interest at a government lending rate if you dont pay atleast every quarter.

If you hit the lottery or a slot machine or some thing like that your tax rate is like in the 40's% range however if poker is profession it is no longer considered like these types of gambling and you would pay taxes in what ever tax bracket your earning fall in. which would probably be in 30% nieborhood with out knowing what actually make. My best advice is for you to go see a CPA and they will be able to help you. My CPA didnt even charge me the first time I went to talk with her and get things set up to pay taxes on my poker earnings. Also you cant just say I am a pro and filing as such there are certain criteria that must be met. I am assuming this is your only job so you should have no prblems there either.

This is wrong..it's possible for variance to affect you regardless of sample size, although obviously the chance of it happening goes down the larger the sample has. Lots of people on this forum are ignorant and think just because they play a huge amount of hands that they will be at neutral EV, and although this is true for most, it's definitely not true for all. I mean, look at SobraoluckBoX, KTheKing, and simmsux...all have run hotter than god for at least 400k+ hands.
