2pm Weds afternoon, 2/5, 8 handed

V (Covers): Mid-high stake live tournament player Chris Kyprianou, have played against him in Unibet featured table, fairly tight and very aggressive, have not seen him show any big bluff the time I have played with him, however he did double me up 3 times at end of day one, I got it in bad 2/3 times and I am certain he remembers me.

Hero (£1,100): Just moved to this table from another 2/5, 3-4 regs plus a few new faces including V who I know are decent/ good players. Have not got involved before this hand.

Hero got JJ on btn while UTG straddled to £10

V limps, CO limps, folds to me and I raised to £50, everyone else fold besides V.

Flop (£127)

2TT

V checks, Hero checks I want to keep all 33-99 in his range by not betting, since its a fairly dry board and Tx would raise my bet

Turn (£127)

6

V bets £70, Hero calls Now all 89, 33-99 would start betting, I just call to evaluate river

River (£267)

7

V bets £300

Hero? Comment on all streets welcome

I'm assuming villain had 89 because u said now 89 would bet, wtf? Would 87 also bet? What about 54 and 53 and 34? What about heart draws? What about a Ten? What about 22?

Pre fine, I like a flop bet since it's the lightest peeled street and I doubt he'll fold the range you've assigned to a standard cbet on a dry board and I'd hate a to give all small PP a free card.

AP
Fold, don't think he's bluffing often enough here to try to get you to fold your A high.

No not at all, I was being simplistic about the type of hands he would bet on that 6, such as gutshot, gutshot+FD etc

You should nearly always be betting this flop when you have position. By betting flop, you're still keeping all his pocket pairs in the hand and not giving V a free card. Will simply have to go off your reads here. I'd fold and consider it a mistake and not want to compound it by calling river.

Bet flop (very standard, you should get calls for the range u are targeting). As played call turn. As played fold river.

At the time I thought I would keep those hands in by NOT betting, now thinking back, if V has 33-99 and he thinks I have Ax, Kx kind of air, he would call.

This should be standard and I am ashamed.

Bet flop smallish.

Call turn.
Fold river.

River is always the nuts (or something that beats us).

Lol at the turn analysis. Now all 89 will bet why? This is a good flop for us, easy bet here.
