Table:
Opened up about 10 minutes ago. We're playing 6 handed.
One player is well known to me, three people who I've seen before, and one total unknown.

All stack sizes are ~$200.

V1: Total unknown, ~40 woman bought in for $200 and shuffling chips in her hand a bit.

V2: Very tight and a bit passive, but never gets out of line. Will 3! with TT+.
SB: Very passive, and tight pre flop. Will fold post without an overpair or top pair.
BB: About the same as SB.

Pre:
1 limp
Hero raises to $11 with J7
V2 calls
V1 calls on the BTN
SB calls
Limper folds

Flop ($41): J85
SB checks
Hero checks
V2 checks
V1 bets $21
SB folds
Hero calls
V2 folds

Turn ($82): 6
Hero checks
V1 bets $25
Hero calls

River ($132) 2
Hero checks
Villain checks

Pre I expect this $11 to take down the $5 very often. At least 50% of the time and the times that it doesn't I feel I can get position and initiative post. Post flop, I don't love my kicker, but we've got top pair and some draws. Thoughts overall?

Your username is quite apt.

not c betting here was pretty bizarre. If you're going to be aggressive with J7dd, you really should c bet when you flop top pair.

+1

Can't wait for the JJ7 flop when you open w J7 lol. Cbet 60% of pot.

As played, turn was a great card for our hand, at some point I think we need to stick in a raise, here looks pretty good to me. Once you call turn though, looking to check down river is fine. Although I expect to see QJ/KJ here fairly often from "total unknown" female player who is shuffling chips.

Until you have specific reads, using general/stereotypical player type assignments is usually ok, and women are usually passive, so her bets indicate strength, most likely better than TPNK.

So you wanted the initiative if you didn't take it down pf, but didn't c-bet top pair. So I'd re-think your pf plans, or make sure you follow through on them. Sometimes we have an easier time c-betting a missed flop and using aggression as opposed to hitting part of the flop and doing the same, that might be what's happening here.

fold pre. you say they are all tight and for the most part if you get called you are easily dominated by aj/kj/qj.

like others have said if you are gonna raise with j7 why aren't you cbetting when you flop top pair? turn card is a great card for you to either lead out or raise. you do neither. river is about the only street you played ok.

you say you expect to take this down 50% of the time pre. so we are risking $11 to win $5 and will only win 50% of the time. i'm also not sure if these people are as tight as you think preflop as 4 of them called and folded flop meaning they probably played some speculative hands.

seems to me as your the weak passive player at the table.

Pre: I hate the raise, J7ss is not a good hand and will lose to almost every other hand that calls.

Flop: The flop hit you as well as you could expect, gotta bet out. As played you are calling a bet not knowing any more info. You could be ahead of some draws, or behind a Jx. I agree though that women tend to be passive, so most likely your up against Jx.

Turn: This was one of the best cards in the deck for your hand. You made an open ended straight draw to go with your top pair. I think that you need to c/r the turn to $75. If your straight hits you get it all in on the river. This will price out any draws you have still chasing you and get some fold equity out of those Jx's villain likely has.

I agree with Rusty... you are playing too passive.
