At the same time, one of the magic bullet moves good players use is massive over shove with nuts but make it look like a bluff. Will I bet $100 that it's 2 pair or TPTK ? Yes. Will I call ~ 550BB ? No. It's irresponsible BRM.

But if you think your hand is good for $100, wouldn't it be worse bankroll management to fold for $1000? Your leaving 500bb's on the table strictly do to the size of the bet. Is that prudent? What would be your "line in the sand?" would you call $400? $500?

Put another way, if you have a cutoff real dollar amount where you'll no longer call w a hand that you think is good enough to call for a bit less, should you even be playing w/ that deep of a stack? is it then time to cash out because the real dollar amount is the deciding factor in a huge spot?

Calling off millions of bb when you have very little invested is what it comes down to. If you already had 300bigs in then it's a snap obviously. But to call off that much is obviously going to impact your roll a lot more negatively if you lose. It's a lot of bigs to lose in one hand.

This is a pretty easy fold to a probable nit who let the button pass.At this level,the raise might as well have been to a million dollars,show no one and fold.
