Probably, unless you 3bet too frequently and villain is adjusting accordingly. I would see a flop for the min raise.

Is KK+ going to flat call a raise in MP very often? I dunno, this looks like a 4 bet bluff to me. I push it.

Why do we even need to put villain on a hand? This is a pretty clear fistpump shove.
Even against a range of AA, KK, and AK we have almost 40% equity.

So if villain always has KK+ here we have ~$840 in equity. Which results in a loss of ~$170. If villain has a slightly wider range (he does) then we are in great shape. Your hand is the mortal nuts imo.

looks like he was tryng to trap the LAG player by smoothing a big pair i wud say JJ+ and he knows AK is a huge part of your reraising range in this spot, your flipping vs JJ and QQ your a small dog to KK and a big dog to AA i fist pump shove this with no specific read on players 4 bet range and expect to see a pair of JJ a lot.
calling is horrible IMO any K or A hi flop and u mite lose action from JJ and QQ and any low flop your gona be gettin better than 2-1 vs his $600 shove into $1400 which means you wud prob have to call with 6 outs and only AK hi.
i agree with previous posters also it is largely dependant on the villains view of you and your reraising range in this particular spot as to what he plays back with, i know players who wud play back v light in this spot others who will have the mortal nuts only AA, any more info on players and history between you guys?

easy shove. I think he does that with 77-TT very often. AQs-AKs.

if he is doing it 77-TT in fact which i dont know to comment on...then its definately not for value but prolly to marge his ranges. any pair has solid value against ur premium range if money go in and you will be folding soem of your squeezes cos his line look pretty strong (tho weird). so its both for value and bluff.

I see bad plyrs do this all the time w/ med pps and such, deciding to turn their hands into bluffs for some reason. I would snap call against a mediocre or unknown plry. However, I have no idea what a good reg would do this with. Also, not sure how different the 5/10 game is from 2/4 in this regard.

I think I fold here if my read is really "good reg". "slight winning reg" is something very different. A good plyr is more likely to show up with a well constructed trap. Anyone else is plenty likely to show up with a wide range. I guess that doesn't take into account your squeezing tendencies, and also the squeezing tendencies of the other playrs who have yet to act when villain calls the first raise. You or anyone else a frequent sqeezer? That would increase the likliehood of a trap. If the table seems like its playing pretty tight with most raises going uncalled or only getting one caller then the trap becomes less likely.
