UTG: hasn't been at the table very long. Middle aged white man.
Villain: 20-something. Already rasied QTo and 44 from early position. Has about $300 in his stack.

Hero also has $300 in his stack. Blinds are $2 and $5.

Hero is a limit regular who only plays no limit recreationally while waiting for a limit table. I originally posted this hand in the NC thread in micro-stakes limit where it was batted back and forth for awhile, but we decided we needed professional help, so here you go.

Hero is in MP with AdKc

UTG limps, villain in UTG+2 raises to $15, Hero raises to $45, folds to villain who calls. Pot is $96 after the drop.

Flop is J43 with two hearts. Villain checks, Hero....?

In addition to the flop action, please let me know whether you think calling rather than 3-betting pre-flop is better.

3 betting is right p/f because at 60 bb its good to build a pot so you can get it in on the flop with your top pair hands. on turn hero Bets 80, folds to a shove

This seems like a great board to c-bet. It missed you but probably missed the villain to and given your cold 3-bet you rep a lot of over pairs as well as JJ. The only problem is that a c-bet commits a lot of our stack. Still, I think a bet of ~60 should get the job done

I bet/fold ~60 check back the turn if checked to and then bet the river again if he checks the river.

Bet/fold $60 & shove all turns.
I 3bet this pre all day. You want to be HU with this guy's wide range IP all day with this hand. I would 3bet to $55 though.

You mean on the turn or on the flop?

3b or call work, at a new table I think I 3bet to try to get it in for only 60bbs.

bet flop all day.

since both players are around 60bb on the flop id imagine in villian flops top pair he will donk into us and we can shove. money will go in on turn if villian check calls on our top pair hands

I really don't think shoving to villain's donk is that great here... Villain has turned his hand face up with his donk but we sort of do the same when we shove. We really don't shove over top with any hand that beats top pair.

3! is fine. I would have 3! 4x or 60.
I would absolutely c-bet this dry flop. If called I like ck behind on the river (as long as you sometimes check TPTK type hands as well for balance and pot control)
