yeah if the funds are fraudulent - for example someone deposits into skrill with credit card, then trades you the skrill for your funds, then disputes/reverses the charge with his credit card company. eventually the credit card company or skrill may take the money back and you've lost your funds

or someone withdraws money from a poker site to skrill, then trades you the skrill for your funds, and then the poker site reverses/cancels the cashout because the money was chipdumped or was deposited with a stolen credit card or etc etc

i am not 100% familiar with skrill or other non-usa e-wallets like neteller so there may be some other methods that i'm not aware of

to be completely safe i think skrill should be treated like paypal or venmo or any of the other e-wallets - only trade it with people you trust 100%
