Hey guys,

I'm often playing in a homegame with two of my friends and the stakes are low, however I obviously want to leave with a profit.
The first like 10 times we played, I crushed their souls and won big every single time, however, they have gone on a role and are hitting cards like no other.
The game plays pretty wierd, we often have a 3x open raise and then someone shove for 250 bbs with eg. AJ and the original raiser calls with like 85o..

Now my problem is, as lame as it seems, I can't seem to find the best way of beating these two guys, without playing really tight, which I don't want to do, as it would take away the fun of our "just for fun" game.

I guess the best way is to play solid and just go into valuetown when you hit the flop, however they always seem to hit their gin card.

Do any of you have any suggestions? They are very welcome !

Thanks in advance,

Accuria

What you want to do is to play more hands in position, with slightly better hand quality than your friends. Learn how to fold on the flop when you don't beat their range.

Most players in home games don't understand position. Focus most of your limps and calls in LP and you'll look like you fit in, but will have a considerable advantage.

First piece of advice is to realise that you can't have everything you want in life, seriously. Sometimes to meet one goal you have to sacrifice another. Sounds like you know what you have to do but aren't willing to apply it. Get over that.

Now I do understand your problem to some extent. If the game is that good you might need to be willing to show some gamble to keep everybody happy (although this really isn't the case as often as you'd think, at the level you describe people tend to still be so excited about playing poker/gambling/bluffing that they couldn't give a **** what you are doing).
If this is the case just accept that you are going to have to three bet junk once a session to 10BB then somehow show it.

The best advice I can give you is, figure out what hands they like to play that are vulnerable and go from there. That's how I figure out all my plans.
