4 plus one is pretty good in most poker locales. If it's 5% up to $4, and no-flop, no-drop, it's even better.
They just said it was 4-1 for 1/2, max buy in $60. I just did not understand the 4-1 part, I guess it is fine.

A number of places in eastern PA and NJ are 10% up to $5 +$1 BBJ, at the $1/$2 tables.

^ That is completely beatable and is super standard. The most important factor is that your villains are buying in for more than $100, willing to drop multiple buy-ins at a time, play loose passive, large player pool that is constantly filling seats after fish goes bust, etc.

I hope you mean min buy-in. If that is actually max, run, run away.

30 hands an hour in a 9-handed game calculates to be about ~$150 with 85% of all hands getting maxed raked, and each player is paying roughly $16.67/hr in rake. I have been using $3 per $1 rake per hour as simplified calculation because of the variables of # of hands dealt and % of hands reaching max rake.

$1 is basically $3 fee straight up. Depending on the equity of HH and BBJ, you are probably paying another $1 to $2 in fees an hour.

Overall you're looking at around ~$20 an hour in cost relating to rake and JP drop.

If you can beat the game for $70/hr, you are still making $50/hr or 10bb/hr.

Is it a lot? Depends on your ability as poker player.

That’s high relatively speaking being 6 max. The standard is 5+2 or 6+1 for full ring in low stakes games.
