How do you play a suited flop? How do you play a suited flop?

So villain limps for $5 with Ks-8o and I raise it to $20 with 8s-8o. He calls and flop comes 2s,7s,10s. Villain raises it 60 and i'm pretty sure he's hitting air so I flat call. Turn comes 3s to complete his King high flush, which also gives me the 8 high flush. He shoves for $90 and i snap call. Did I play this hand correctly?

So assuming you meant bet 60 and not raises 60 on the flop, if you're pretty sure "he's hitting air" why would you just flat call? Shouldn't you use that valuable information and put him to a decision by putting him all in? Stack to pot ratio is important here bc his turn shove will be only be like 60% of the pot or so. Shoving flop probably makes sense even without the air read but there could also just be merit to folding the flop when he apparently bets more than the pot with not much behind (low implied odds even if you do feel your 8 flush plays)

If you're pretty sure he has air, you should be ripping it in on flop. I'm not usually a 'feel' player but for those who are, go with it if you think you're good. Especially against fish who limp/call Kx offsuit OOP.
