Would you be checking AA here? Bet that pretty obvious for the reasons mentioned. Even if there's a slightly higher than 50% chance someone has a 2 there is 60 BB's of dead money to more than make up for betting out hand.

Surviva mentioned we don't even have to bet that big on this dry board. Our break even on a $100 bet is 29%. I can't even fathom checking here.

I think AA is a pretty clear check here and JJ is a very clear bet. It's pretty unlikely that anyone has a deuce, but they sure as hell have overcards to JJ.

Why not bet AA? With this many players, we really have no idea what our scare cards are, but pretty much any card up to a T can complete a gutter or a set. We can still get value from worse so AA seems like a standard bet to me as well (even though it's not as vulnerable as JJ it's still just a one pair hand 8-way.
